Embedded in many COVID-19 statements is the suggestion – supported by the CDC – that people visit parks, trails and open spaces as a way to relieve stress and stay active. But what does it mean for neighborhoods without adequate green spaces or the populations for whom these spaces are arguably not providing the designed respite from danger?
