What’s the best part of your job?
At Philanthropy Ohio, I am privileged to work hard at work worth doing with some pretty wonderful people.
"Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing."
When did you start work at Philanthropy Ohio?
I earned my undergraduate degree in secondary education from Ohio Dominican University and began my professional career as a high school social studies teacher in Columbus. During my tenure as an educator, I attended Ashland University earning my Master of Arts in American History and Government. I have since worked as a training officer for the State of Ohio (JFS), as a full-stack engineer at a German ed-tech startup in Berlin and as a teacher for a French coding bootcamp. In 2016, I returned to Ohio Dominican to earn my MBA with a concentration in accounting. #iamodu

I love how diverse and active downtown Columbus is! I really enjoy being able to easily walk to German Village, the Short North, Olde Towne East and the Brewery District. (In 2021, I am very excited to be able to walk to Columbus Crew games!)
