When did you start work at Philanthropy Ohio?
I’ve been working in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years, with the last 13 in foundation management. I moved to Ohio to be closer to my family and took a position at Sisters of Charity Foundation in Canton. Prior to moving to Ohio, I served as executive director of a health legacy foundation in South Carolina and before that was the executive director of The Pokagon Fund, a private foundation in Michigan. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University, and recently earned my Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Grace College.
What do you love about where you live?
I’m new to the area, so I’m looking forward to exploring! I love how walkable the city is and am excited to check out all the parks and outdoor activities.

What do you do outside of work?
I’m a yoga instructor and try to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I love any outside activities – kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking and even snowshoeing! But my favorite activity is spoiling my grandkids!
