Resilia is a Black-led social enterprise organization that leverages a combination of technology and human touch to help nonprofits and changemakers build capacity, elevate stories and more effectively and efficiently strengthen local nonprofits and already has partnered with several Ohio funders.

"We partnered with Resilia at the beginning of the year, and our cohort of 10 grantees have really benefited from Resilia's one-on-one coaching, peer learning opportunities and extensive resource database. Capacity building is a major need in the nonprofit sector, so covering the cost for our grantees so they can grow in these areas by learning at their own pace is huge. Support that is tailored to each organization allows the organization to best respond to its unique context. Overall, we have been pleased with our experience with Resilia."  – The Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation

“The Funders’ Collaborative on Covid Recovery recently conducted a first-of-its-kind landscape analysis of the nonprofit sector in Cuyahoga County, which identified fundraising and board development as top needs of most local nonprofits. To address those needs, the Cleveland Foundation engaged Resilia to build the capacity of a cohort of grantees in fundraising and other capacity building due to their ability to customize support to the specific needs of the individual nonprofit, and they have clear outcomes that show that nonprofits that engage fully with their platforms increase their fundraising.”

The Resilia Funder Program enables you to provide your community partners one-on-one coaching, on-demand training, capacity-building resources, back-office tools and fundraising solutions in a manner that best suits them, while at the same time expanding their own administrative wingspan. You’ll also have access to Resilia’s Elevate network, a national learning and action initiative focused on equity and elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations.

"Resilia’s work aligns with Philanthropy Ohio’s mission to lead and equip its members to become the most effective partners for change,” said Sevetri Wilson, Resilia founder and CEO. “We look forward to providing Ohio funders and the nonprofits they support with the tools, knowledge and resources to make an even greater impact in the communities they serve.”

We are so pleased to partner with Resilia, and we look forward to working together to bring this amazing resource to nonprofits across Ohio through you, our funder members. Coming in 2023, we will host multiple webinars on capacity building and equitable grantmaking in partnership with Resilia exclusively for Philanthropy Ohio members.
