David Mathews, president and CEO of the Kettering Foundation, announced he will relinquish his executive responsibilities once the board of directors hires a successor.
 
The Scioto Foundation announced the establishment of The Rohit Kataria Equal Access Scholarship Fund, created by a young man who is determined to have an impact on education in both the local area and the United States.
 
The Ottawa County Community Foundation awarded more than $53K to local nonprofits and partnered with the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation with a $62K grant from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation.
 
Joree Novotny of the Ohio Association of Foodbanks said if there's been a silver lining in the pandemic, it's been many of the investments in family economic stability, like the expansion of the Child Tax Credit.
 
Jeff and Joy Reep, recently retired from Comfort Control, were gifted a donor advised fund at the Ashland County Community Foundation.
 
The Hispanic Fund at the Community Foundation of Lorain County honored recipients at their annual meeting.
 
Summa Health received a $15M donation, the largest in the system’s history, from Dr. Gary Williams and his wife Pamela Williams.
 
The Tuscarawas County Community Foundation awarded more than $632K in grants this year to over 40 area nonprofit organizations and governmental entities in an effort to improve the quality of life for area residents.
