The Dayton Foundation, which provides College Promise with office and backroom support, awarded $375,000 in grants toward the campaign to help lead 500 students to and through college.

KeyBank Foundation has given $250,000 to the United Way of Greater Stark County and $200,000 to Canton For All People to invest in the community.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio financed the new trail highlighting the artistic talents and the flora and fauna of Southeast Ohio.

Ayersville Athletic Boosters received a $10,000 grant from the Defiance Area Foundation Community Fund to help enhance and update softball and baseball fields at Ayersville High School. 

In 1985, Charles H. Dater established the Charles H. Dater Foundation, and in its first year, the foundation made 13 grants totaling the modest sum of $9,500.

Julie Prettyman, Marion Community Foundation program manager, made an immediate impact by singlehandedly raising the bar of the foundation’s grant and scholarship programs by enhancing the online application experience.

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History received a $120,000 grant from the PNC Foundation that will assist in the expansion and transformation of Smead Discovery Center, the Museum’s family-friendly, hands-on area for exploration.

The Pioneer School received grant funds from Chillicothe Kiwanis, United Way of Ross County, Chillicothe Ross Community Foundation and the Herrnstein Family Fund to install the new playground equipment. 

The Columbus Partnership and The Columbus Foundation, led by President and CEO Doug Kridler, sponsor the trip and select all 10 participants each year for the Young American Leaders Program.

The Ashtabula Foundation donated $48,200 in order to make opening the Food for Life Market possible.

The Lucinda L. Kessler Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship Fund was established as an endowment at the Scioto Foundation in memory of a long-time arts educator and talented musician.

The Van Wert County Foundation funded an aptitude and skills test called YouScience which tells a student how their mind is wired and the skills and knowledge that set them apart in a specific career.

The Ashland Source Report for America position is funded by The Ashland County Community Foundation. 

GAR Foundation awarded more than $2.25 million in grants to nonprofit groups in Greater Akron.

Twenty-one nonprofits serving the Washington County community received grants from the Marietta Community Foundation

Richland County Foundation President Brady Groves reported that the foundation granted $7,299,660 in 2021 during his report at the organization's annual meeting.

A $3 million gift from the Connor Foundation to University Hospitals Connor Whole Health will allow the system's integrative medicine program to expand its services and establish the Connor Endowed Director of Reproductive Well-being.

 The Sherwin-Williams Foundation partnered with The Urban League of Greater Cleveland to develop and launch an innovative new Construction Accelerator Program to drive long-term growth and success for Northeast Ohio minority-owned businesses.

The Huron County Community Foundation awarded the Norwalk Cemetery Association $1,500 to help pay for its new Signage and Beautification Project.
