The Portage Foundation’s Grants and Scholarships Committee awarded $79K to 14 area organizations.

The Ashland County Women of Achievement reached their fundraising goal to ensure the annual Kay Conrad Young Woman to Watch award will exist for years to come at the Ashland County Community Foundation.

The Raymond John Wean Foundation seeks to address systemic racism in the Mahoning Valley.
A book club pilot program is coming to Columbiana County this summer thanks to support from the Ohio Collaborative for Educating Remotely & Transforming Schools fund.
Ohio Hills Health Services announced they received a $5K grant from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio's Cause Connector to purchase a generator for the Quaker City Family Health Center.

Richland County Foundation, Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development and Source Media Properties hosted a community conversation on generational opportunities and the American Rescue Plan money coming into the state.
Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition asked for $17.5M of the American Rescue Plan money coming to Cleveland and the council members, which include the George Gund Foundation and Mt. Sinai Foundation, said to double that ask.
