The Community Foundation of Lorain County recently announced a unique partnership with Paradigm Institutional Investments, an African American-owned institutional investment consulting firm.
The Community West Foundation is now expanding its successful Socks-Plus program to Lorain County.
The Bernard McDonough Foundation, Dale and Courtney Knight, Peoples Bank Foundation and the Marietta Community Foundation donated $47K to the Ely Chapman Education Foundation.
The Sustainable Opportunity Development Training Center received $20K from the Association of Ohio Commodores Foundation Fund, affiliated with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio.
Three local nonprofit organizations were recognized during the 11th Annual Northwest Ohio Nonprofit Innovation & Excellence Awards, hosted by the Greater Toledo Community Foundation.
New Albany Community Foundation in focus: ‘Seedling’ is symbol of organization’s growth.
The Ashland County Women of Achievement inductees were announced, including Kristin Aspin, chief program officer at the Ashland County Community Foundation.
The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio was recognized with an award for its advocacy and dedication to the visual health of children in Appalachian Ohio. 

Interact for Health hired Kate Schroder as the new president and CEO.
Mercy Health made a $10K commitment to Project 2030, a Field of Interest Fund under The Defiance Area Foundation.
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland bestowed its 2021 Gries Family Award to Barbara S. Robinson for her extended impact on the Jewish and general communities of Cleveland.
Bob Evans donated $15,000 that will benefit the Ohio FFA Foundation, Ohio 4-H and the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation
