The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, in partnership with the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville, is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity intended to address the social, economic, educational and health challenges faced by young people in Appalachian Ohio.

Scioto Foundation presents Scioto Gives campaign.

The Defiance Area Foundation received a generous donation of $5K to the Moose Lodge Fund 2094 to support Defiance County.

Clinton County Legacy Fund of the Clinton County Foundation awarded a $38K grant to the Murphy Theatre to install a flame detection and mass notification system.

A Youngstown cancer wellness organization received a grant from the Arnett Family, Kennedy Family and First Place Community funds held at the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

Community Foundation of Lorain County is leading a campaign for local residents to put their money where their hearts are.

Northeast Ohio organizations received $47K in 2020 census microgrants from a philanthropic coalition that includes the Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation, Cleveland Foundation, George Gund Foundation, Saint Luke's Foundation and two members of the Ohio Census Advocacy Coalition: Cleveland VOTES and the Children's Defense Fund-Ohio.

The Afterschool Program of Lancaster received funding from the Fairfield County Foundation and United Way of Fairfield County to purchase new laptops and printers.

The Cleveland Arts Prize announced their award winners - Char and Chuck Fowler will be honored with the Martha Joseph Prize and United Way of Greater Cleveland executive Helen Forbes Fields will receive a special citation for her wide-ranging leadership in pushing for diversity, equity and inclusion in the arts.

Stambaugh Auditorium received grants to support COVID-19 relief efforts from John MacIntosh Fund of The Youngstown Foundation through the Mahoning Valley COVID-19 Relief Program, PNC Foundation and from Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.

The Troy Foundation donated funds to purchase Chromebooks with touch-screen technology for every kindergarten student in the district.

Greater Cincinnati Foundation launches a loan fund with the Economic and Community Development Institute.

Columbus Foundation announced unprecedented funding for 2020-2021 in four target areas.

Middletown first responders received a 'thank you’ meal funded by the Middletown Community Foundation.

Kol Israel Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland organized an event to remember 6M Jews lost in the Holocaust.

United Way of Knox County campaign goes virtual.
