Cuyahoga Arts & Culture approved $1.65 million in COVID-19 relief funds for arts organizations at its board of trustees meeting. 

The president and CEO of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Ellen Katz, will leave the organization next year.  

After 26 years in Cincinnati, Eric Avner, the former Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Foundation vice president and CEO of People’s Liberty, has left to lead a foundation in Ontario, Canada.

Educational arts grants from the Ohio Arts Council, Martha Holden Jennings Foundation and Cuyahoga Arts & Culture often mean Mr. Evert's classes are provided at no cost to schools and child care centers.

Ashland County Community Foundation awarded five Women's Fund grants totaling $16,175 to support and empower women in Ashland County.

Knox Community Foundation gave a $5,000 grant to the HopeNow Furniture Bank "Stock the Shelves" pilot project to enhance the services provided to clients in need.

The distribution committee of the Coshocton Foundation awarded 11 grants totaling $146,953.80 to various community organizations.

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 received funding from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio’s Cause Connector giving program to support community training for suicide awareness and prevention called QPR: Question, Persuade, and Refer.

The Scioto Foundation’s 2022 Scioto Gives one-day giving campaign will set a new high for the number of participating nonprofit organizations and a larger-than-ever match of $55,000 from the foundation. 

Connect to a Cause, a 12-hour crowdfunding campaign established by the Community Foundation of Lorain County generates funds for participating nonprofits.

Cleveland Browns Foundation executive director Renee Harvey joined Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon and others to encourage students to stay in school.
