Julie Prettyman was named president and CEO of the Marion Community Foundation after Dean Jacob's retirement in June.
 
The African American Philanthropy Committee of the Cleveland Foundation hosted the African American Philanthropy Summit to engage the African American community in charitable giving and honor African American philanthropists in the region.
