Philanthropy Ohio is a statewide membership association that provides the network, tools and knowledge to help people engaged in philanthropy become more effective, powerful change agents in their communities. How do we do this?
By building skills and knowledge
Philanthropy Ohio taps the wisdom of local experts and national thought leaders to bring members high quality programs and knowledge resources to improve practice, fine-tune policies and advance professional development. Whether it’s through our scores of webinars and in-person events or our monthly electronic newsletter and quarterly news magazine, we offer the latest and best ideas for Ohio philanthropy.
Philanthropy Ohio is the recognized advocate representing the interests of Ohio philanthropy in the state and the nation. Our legislative agenda—focused on federal tax policy and Ohio education and health policy reform – guides our relationship building with key policymakers as we strive to advance the causes of philanthropy.
Philanthropy Ohio is the network that links our members to their peers across the state, forming a broad, strong group of people to tap into for experience and advice. Bringing people together is something we do really well, through our funder organized by issue, geography and giving structure, our listservs and meetings.
Philanthropy Ohio does not give grants or offer assistance to nonprofits.
