Philanthropy Ohio offers a robust schedule of learning events designed to help you become more effective in your philanthropic work. This year’s calendar presents over 100 events to build your knowledge and skills.
Philanthropy Forward '22
This fall, Philanthropy Ohio will convene its first in-person conference in three years, bringing together colleagues from around the state in Cleveland to connect with one another, build skills as leaders and strengthen this network of funder peers.

The 2022 cohort experience will be hybrid with four virtual and three in-person sessions from June to October.
Take a deeper dive than the basics into critical insights and expertise to advance your legal knowledge of the inner workings of corporate foundations and giving programs – from administration to governance to self-dealing and grantmaking – in this two-day workshop.
Learn about the changing education policy landscape; hear the Ohio Department of Education’s strategies to support students; and discuss Philanthropy Ohio’s education priorities.
In celebration of Black Philanthropy Month, discover the origins of the CREA Foundation as a philanthropic response to racial injustice and learn about trends in corporate philanthropy.
Learn how foundations can leverage capacity assessment tools to support their ability to carry out sustained advocacy efforts.

Leading and supporting philanthropic work to center racial equity, we bring training, tools, inspiration and conversations to our members, holding space for peer sharing and cohort learning and expanding to include other marginalized identities and issues.
