Greater Cincinnati Foundation, in partnership with the City of Cincinnati and Interact for Health, awarded $834K in Boots on the Ground Fund grants to 41 local nonprofits.
 
The Community Foundation of The Ohio Valley announced the recipients of the $40K Breaking Barriers for A Better Community Fund grant.
 
The Ashtabula Foundation recognized youth philanthropy program students at their annual luncheon event.
 
The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley established a 6th Ward Neighborhood Improvement Fund with $100K support from Warren City Schools American Rescue Plan dollars.
 
The Bryan Area Foundation presented Habitat for Humanity of Williams County with a $33K grant.
 
St. Francis Senior Ministries received a $10K grant from the Allen Eiry Fund through The Columbus Foundation.
 
The Greater Toledo Community Foundation administered scholarships for awards of $4K each to 20 students as this year's recipients of Mr. and Mrs. William Block, Jr., Scholarships.
 
The Miami County YMCA, Troy City Schools and The Troy Foundation are excited to announce the launch of a new before- and after-school pilot program.
 
Five people from Appalachian Ohio were honored with Jenco Awards by the Jenco Foundation and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio for service to their communities.

ServeOhio, Ohio’s commission on service and volunteerism, honored Robert West of Athens and seven other volunteers, volunteer groups and service initiatives across the state.
 
Clinton County Community Foundation awarded a competitive grant of $6K to help fund the celebration of Kent Fest and support the students.
 
In partnership with the Community Foundation for Crawford County, the Crawford Partnership offered loans of up to $10K to small businesses and nonprofits affected by the storms.
 
The Athens County Foundation recognized several community members for their contributions to the Athens County community at their Celebration of Community event.
 
Nationwide Children’s Hospital is vastly expanding its children’s mental health initiatives under the Kids Mental Health Foundation.
 
The Portage County Emergency Management Agency and the Portage Foundation have established a disaster relief fund to help residents affected by tornadoes in Windham.

Caring for Kids charity issued their 2024 funds to eight local Wilmington organizations in the total amount of $14K.

The Cleveland Museum of Art will undergo renovations after receiving $8M in gifts from the James and Susan Ratner Foundation.

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation awarded grants to fund the addition of four new boards to the Heritage Veteran’s Trail Story Walk, which educates and celebrates Hancock County's accomplishments.
