Philanthropy Ohio urges a strong direct approach for increasing Ohio student FAFSA rates in this policy briefing.
Thousands of women are engaged in current-day philanthropy through Women’s Funds, often organized within community foundations and sometimes as separate organizations. Many share a common focus and goal of empowering the lives of women and girls, often with a focus on those whose voices are unheard and whose lives lack opportunities.

The August Education Initiative meeting took a deep dive into early childhood education, education provisions of the state’s biennium budget and other priority legislation. Philanthropy Ohio's Legislation in Focus provides a summary of House Bill 1 (Callender, Sweeney), better known as the newest iteration of the school funding plan, which creates a new financial system for Ohio school districts and other entities that provide primary and secondary education.
