Convene with community foundation leaders from around the state for your annual CEO summit with Philanthropy Ohio. Connect on critical topics affecting your work and see examples of philanthropic successes in Lorain County while enjoying Lake Erie views. Begin the event Monday evening with a networking reception and dinner at the Ariel Broadway Hotel.

You will have a day full of learning and exchange on Tuesday, beginning at the Ariel Broadway Hotel before moving to lunch and discussion at the Lorain Historical Society. Registration includes breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, April 16. Dinner on Monday, April 15 will be included if selected at the time of registration.  

What you’ll take away

  • Deeper connection with your community foundation peers in the state; and
  • Insight on how communities are harnessing tax credits and historic assets toward forward-looking community development.

Who should attend

This program is limited to community foundation CEOs and executive directors from Ohio. Exceptions may be made to include a senior leader at the invitation of the organization’s CEO if a CEO cannot attend the program.

Hotel Information

A very limited hotel block has been secured at the Ariel Broadway Hotel. Please refer to the "Philanthropy Ohio" room block when calling the hotel at 440-246-6669 to make a reservation. Rooms must be reserved on or before March 15, 2024.

  • 8:45 a.m. – Partnering for Economic Prosperity (Panel & discussion featuring key economic development partners)
  • 10 a.m. – Supporting Leadership and Community Capacity (Panel & discussion featuring leadership cohort participants)
  • 10:45 a.m. – Philanthropic Collaborations (Panel & discussion featuring local philanthropic leaders)
  • 11:30 a.m. – Transition from Ariel Hotel to the Carnegie Center / Lorain Historical Society
  • Noon – Peer Lunch Conversation
  • 1 p.m. – Lorain Historical Society Remarks
  • 1:20 p.m. – Open access to museum space / Peer space
  • 2:30 p.m. – Program close
