Learn how Candid is harnessing the power of data to lead to better and more equitable outcomes for nonprofits and philanthropy. Hear about “Demographics via Candid” and how the information ecosystem that Candid has built can help you support your nonprofit partners, evaluate who you are serving and consider how you code investments to better understand the impact of your work.

After the morning conversation with Candid, you’ll move into peer space co-hosted by PEAK Mideast for discussion and to build connections within your network of Philanthropy Ohio and PEAK colleagues. Conclude the day with a dessert reception to continue conversations with your peers.

What you’ll take away

  • Knowledge of the benefits and limitations of collecting demographics in philanthropy;
  • Awareness of available industry tools such as nonprofit profiles and dashboards; and
  • Connections to peers statewide.

Who should attend

  • Grants managers at foundations and corporate giving programs; and
  • Program officers or staff with grantmaking responsibilities.

Please note that this program is intended to serve those currently in grants management or program officer roles. While other staff roles are welcome to attend, the content will be tailored to this audience.
