The Cleveland Foundation, VP for Building Operations and Guest Svs.
Leslie Dunford manages the foundation's facilities, office services, and risk-management programs, and serves as the executive director of Suite 1300 Services, Inc., an affiliate of the Cleveland Foundation that provides support services to the foundation’s resident-led, community-building program.
From 1997 through 2014, Leslie also served as the foundation's corporate secretary and liaison to its board of directors and legal counsel, advising on matters of regulatory compliance and governance.
A graduate of Cleveland Bridge Builders and Leadership Cleveland, Leslie is an honorary life trustee of Youth Opportunities Unlimited and a past recipient of the YWCA’s Women of Professional Excellence award. From 2005 through 2011, Leslie served as a standards reviewer for the Community Foundations National Standards Board. She has a Certificate for Non-Profit Board Consulting from BoardSource.
Leslie earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Gannon University in Pennsylvania.

Brady Groves has served as president of the Richland County Foundation since 2011. During his tenure, he has helped create a five-year economic development investment strategy, developed a nonprofit capacity-building academy and positioned the community foundation to lead important community conversations. Currently, Brady is working to change the paradigm of responsive grantmaker to a system of social capital and impact. Prior to the community foundation, he served in leadership roles in business development for OhioHealth – Mansfield Hospital, business banking, human resources and sales. Brady received his MBA from Ashland University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.

Denise joined Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and was elected Secretary and Assistant Treasurer for the Foundation in 2010. She previously served as the President and managing partner of Brott Mardis & Co., a local public accounting firm in Akron, Ohio. Denise is a Certified Public Accountant and has assisted a wide variety of nonprofit organizations with financial-statement audits, tax compliance work, and consulting engagements including internal-control implementation, board governance, and benefit plans. Denise is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a past Board Chair of Project Learn of Summit County. Denise currently serves as a board member of Philanthropy Ohio and on the Finance Committee of the Fund for Our Economic Future. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Steven, in addition to working with donors and their professional advisors to identify charitable goals, plays a lead role in supporting and growing organization endowment funds and philanthropic activities beyond central Ohio. Steven serves as a liaison to the Pickaway County Community Foundation, the Dublin Foundation, and other regional community foundations.
Prior to his current position, he served as grants administrator for Huckleberry House, Inc. and was associate director of foundation relations at The Ohio State University. From 1997-1999, he was a community research and grants management officer for the Foundation.
Steven currently serves on the Nominating Committee for the Columbus Metropolitan Club, Philanthropy Ohio’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, the Shumate African-American Outreach and Engagement Council of the Wexner Center for the Arts, and the Advisory Board for Besa. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Steven holds a bachelor of arts from Hampton University and a master in public administration from The Ohio State University.

Eric Avner joined The Carol Ann & Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation in April, 2008. As Vice President, he directs all Community Development grantmaking, focusing on Cincinnati’s distinctive urban neighborhoods, a talented regional workforce, and a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. Eric is also Founder and CEO of People’s Liberty (peoplesliberty.org), the foundation’s 8,000sf philanthropic lab in Over-the-Rhine that explores a new role for foundations interested in place-based grantmaking and civic re-engagement.
Previously, Eric has advised Cincinnati's top CEOs on economic development issues as Associate Director of the Cincinnati Business Committee; launched Soapboxmedia.com, a weekly magazine focused on the region’s economic and physical transformation; and led efforts to convert an abandoned railroad bridge across the Ohio River into an award-winning linear pedestrian park, the “Purple People Bridge.”
Eric attended McGill (Montreal) and Cornell Universities and he serves on the boards of Philanthropy Ohio, ArtWorks Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Development Fund.

Keith Burwell is president of Greater Toledo Community Foundation, a position he has held since 2004. He currently oversees an annual grants program averaging $14 million. At Greater Toledo Community Foundation, a responsive grantmaker, Keith leads in a variety of civic roles such as educator, catalyst and convener on key community issues, making available his expertise and that of his 14 professional staff to a wide range of community efforts. The foundation team directs annual grantmaking and gifting in the region, making Greater Toledo Community Foundation the largest philanthropic organization in Northwest Ohio. Keith has a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree from Campbell University.

Meghan Cummings is the Vice President, Civic Advancement at The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
She brings a broad perspective of leadership and fundraising through her experience with non-profit organizations, a corporate charity and a community foundation. She is passionate about addressing poverty and equity issues by igniting public will and inspiring individuals, companies and foundations to collaborate in new ways.
She is a past president of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has worked extensively on the chapter’s diversity and inclusion efforts including the creation of a diversity pipeline program called New Faces of Fundraising. She was named to the 2014 class of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty under 40. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Beyond Civility, a non-profit dedicated to helping citizens and civic leaders explore the barriers and bridges to effective dialogue.

Amy Eyman is the Executive Director of the Fairfield County Foundation and celebrated her 20th year with the Foundation on September 1, 2019. The Foundation is a public charitable organization with a mission to build a legacy through philanthropy and stewardship for a stronger community.
The Fairfield County Foundation celebrated 30 years of serving the community in April 2019. In her role as Executive Director, Amy manages a staff of 4 and is primarily responsible for development, fundraising, marketing & communications and community outreach.
Amy is a native of Lancaster, a graduate of Lancaster High School and a proud graduate of Ohio University, Athens.
Amy recently completed her 12th year as a member of the Lancaster City Schools Board of Education and was re-elected to a 4th 4-year term in November. She just completed a 3-year term on the Ohio School Boards Association Board and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Central Region of Ohio School Boards Association. Amy serves as a Board member of the Lancaster Rotary Club and the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce. Amy is a member of Charitable Gift Planners of Central Ohio. Amy and her husband John live in Lancaster and have 2 sons, Andrew (25) a graduate of Ohio University and William (20) is a Junior in the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Connie Hawk joined the Licking County Foundation in Newark as director in November 2007. The Foundation is a public charitable organization with a mission to improve the quality of life for all citizens in the community. In this position, she oversees development, fundraising, marketing communications, grantmaking, and community outreach. Previously, she worked at the Midland Theatre for three years as assistant director. Before joining the Midland, Connie was executive director of Ohio Ballet in Akron for two years. Connie also has 16 years of experience in advertising and marketing communications with a prominent Akron-based advertising firm, Hitchcock Fleming & Associates, Inc.
Currently, Connie is an active member of the Granville Rotary Club (past president). She has served on the boards of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce and the Granville Rotary Foundation. She also served as a panelist for the Ohio Arts Council’s grant programs in 2010 (Arts Access) and 2011 (Sustainability). Connie, along with her husband Steve, lives in Granville. She enjoys attending arts performances, antiquing, reading, cooking, gardening, and travel.

Benjamin Kroeck is the Gas Business Development Manager for Dominion Energy. He represents the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation throughout the Midwest while overseeing charitable giving budgets, employee giving programs, and signature events.
Originally a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he moved to Cleveland in 2013. He began his career at Dominion Energy in 2007 as an intern with the Media Relations Department before transitioning to the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation in 2008.
Benjamin was a graduate of Cleveland Leadership Center’s BridgeBuilders program in 2015. He then went on to serve in their Leadership Council from 2015-2020 helping to grow and cultivate the next generation of leaders across Northeast Ohio. He currently serves on Philanthropy Ohio’s Board of Directors and actively participates with their Corporate Funders Group and Member Services Committee.
Benjamin obtained a Master of Public and International Affairs with a concentration in Global Political Economy from the University of Pittsburgh. He has a B.A. in Political Science and History from Washington and Jefferson College.
Benjamin lives in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife, daughter, and their cat Lemon. He looks forward to being able to bicycle to the office again soon.

As a community and philanthropic leader and communications strategist, Su works with a cross-section of public and private organizations to advance and engage communities at the national, regional and local level. Prior to forming Three Rivers East, Su had an extensive career in communications, community development and corporate social responsibility that included key positions with ScottsMiracle-Gro, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Huntington Bank.
Su is active in her community through volunteerism and board service, supporting a variety of missions and causes. She has been on the board of Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens since 2009. During her time with the Conservatory, Su has served as Board President, and chaired the Marketing Committee and Development Committee.
Su currently serves on the Mount Carmel Health System Board. Prior to this appointment, she was a long-time leader for 15 years on the Mount Carmel Foundation Board of Trustees, and served as board chair from 2013 - 2015.
Since 2009, Su has supported the environmental protection efforts of Keep Ohio Beautiful as a board member. As chair of the group’s Board Development Committee, she has guided the efforts to create a diverse board that represents a variety of industries from across the state of Ohio.
In 2018, Su joined the Philanthropy Ohio Board of Trustees, where she serves on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and Governance Committee.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Su earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a minor in Communications.

She received the designation of Certified Fund-Raising Executive in 2020. Michelle has served on the Resource Development and Women’s Fund Advisory Council and participated in the Authentic Leadership in Philanthropy program.

Jill Miller is president of Bethesda Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that is both co-sponsor of TriHealth, a leading integrated health care system in Southwest Ohio, and creator of bi3, grantmaking initiative to transform the health and well being of all people in Greater Cincinnati.
Earlier in her career, Jill founded and led the Joey Votto Foundation, where she managed and facilitated grants, created new grassroots programs, and built meaningful relationships with community partners. She served as development director at Ronald McDonald House, where she exceeded fundraising goals, facilitated organizational change, and led efforts to empower board members and community volunteers. Jill also has held leadership roles in the financial and insurance industries.
In 2020, Jill served as chair of the Funders Collaborative that helped guide the decision making processes associated with the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund. The Fund rapidly mobilized to provide community grants to support the most vulnerable in our community. Jill also serves on Miami University’s Economics Advisory Board, Camp Joy’s Board of Trustees, The Health Collaborative’s Accountable Health Communities Advisory Board, Cradle Cincinnati Advisory Board, and Bethesda Foundation Board of Trustees.

Patricia O’Brien joined The Stocker Foundation in 1998 as the organization’s first program officer. She was selected as executive director in March 2001. Patty continues to lead The Stocker Foundation through all facets of strategic planning related to competitive grantmaking and evaluation, local funding initiatives and maintaining best-practice governance policies. Kristen Rost is the vice president, Nationwide Foundation/sr. director corporate citizenship at Nationwide. In this role, she is responsible for implanting the company’s philanthropic strategy and the overall operation of the Nationwide Foundation, which grants approximately $50 million per year. She has strong working relationships with corporate foundation officers across Ohio and with national funders, including Walmart, Amazon and Pew Charitable Trust. She leads the statewide public/private partnership, the Ohio Opioid Education Alliance. She serves on Philanthropy Ohio’s Public Policy Committee and is a member of the Health Initiative.

Karen White is the senior vice president and senior program officer, corporate philanthropy, for KeyBank. She is KeyBank Foundation’s Neighbors strategy leader and guides strategic grantmaking in Key’s Great Lakes and Western Pennsylvania regions. Karen leads Key’s national signature volunteer effort “Neighbors Makes the Difference Day” and has oversight of Key’s United Way Campaign activities across the United States. For KeyBank Foundation, she manages a grant portfolio of nearly $40 million. In Northeast Ohio, Karen manages strategic grantmaking for the foundation in the areas of arts and culture and community economic impact. She is a graduate of Sawyer College of Business.
