The Stocker Foundation is donating $1M in grants to Lorain County Community College and to the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio in honor of Jane Norton, the foundation’s late executive director.

The Greater Toledo Community Foundation awarded the Valentine Theatre a $10K grant to host the world-renowned Flamenco Vivo.

The Defiance Area Foundation presented the Fort Defiance Players with a $10K grant from the Arts and Theatre Fund to purchase a hydraulic power lift at Defiance Community Auditorium.

The Clinton County Foundation awarded a $10K grant to Clinton-Massie schools for improvements that will benefit students across all athletic teams at Clinton-Massie due to a student aide’s instrumental work in applying for the grant.

The AEP Ohio Foundation renewed its commitment to supporting southeast Ohio students and families through a $10K donation to the Ohio University Food Pantries Program.

The YMCA of Wayne County has established the YMCA of Holmes County Fund at the Holmes County Education & Community Foundation to support the long-term development of a full-service YMCA in Holmes County.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation partnered with Miles’ Mission and other local organizations to sponsor the 2nd annual Live2Lead interactive experience, an upcoming leader development minicourse aimed at sharpening skillsets and broadening mindsets.

The Findlay-Hancock Community Foundation is rolling out the Tri-Share Childcare Program, an expansion effort designed to reduce the financial burden of childcare by sharing costs among families, employers and community partners.

The Clinton County Youth Council has been awarded a $15K grant from the Taco Bell Foundation to support its free after-school services and leadership programming.

The Columbus City Education Foundation was created and launched on Feb. 4 in part to help ease the burden placed on the district after cuts in state and federal funding for public schools.
 
The Columbiana Community Foundation awarded a grant of $3.5K to the City of Columbiana for the summer concert series at Firestone Park.

The Community West Foundation and Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital gave a $45K grant to the Avon Lake Fire Department to enhance its cardiac emergency response with new CPR Devices.

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, in collaboration with bi3 Fund, BT RISE, Interact for Health and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, has awarded more than $1.5M to 34 nonprofit organizations to help them meet the moment of a rapidly shifting funding landscape.

The Bryan Area Foundation awarded a $5K grant to the Black Swamp Area Council of Scouting America to help pay for phase two of the construction of Cooper Lodge at Camp Lakota in Defiance.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, in partnership with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, has awarded $121K to fund locally led conservation and environmental stewardship efforts that advance the region's well-being.
