The Coshocton Foundation awarded more than $22K in grants to local organizations for projects benefiting the community.

Barberton Community Foundation received an $80K grant to support workforce development in Northeast Ohio's polymer industry.
 
Dayton Metro Library reached its $650k fundraising goal for the new Bookmobile through multiple donors and organizations, including Charles D. Berry Foundation, The Dayton Foundation, Iddings Foundation, Mathile Family Foundation, The Kettering Fund, Physician's Charitable Foundation, Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage, CenterPoint Energy Foundation, Preschool Promise, Friends of the Dayton Metro Library, The Dayton Metro Library Foundation and The Disability Foundation.

The Crawford County Community Concert Association will launch its 2025-2026 season on Oct. 9, with support from the Community Foundation for Crawford County, the Ohio Arts Council, AVITA Health System and Ohio Mutual Insurance Group.

The Foundation of Appalachian Ohio and COSI supported a STEM careers fair at Harrison Central to introduce the students to career paths and provide insights from professionals in those fields. 

The Gallia Community Foundation, in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, awarded $23K in 2025 grants to fund 10 projects and programs benefiting Gallia County residents and communities.

CPC Women's Health Resource was the recipient of a $2.5K grant from the Bryan Area Foundation to help them purchase a new washer and dryer at their Bryan, Ohio, location.

The Tipp City Foundation awarded eight grants totaling over $18K to five organizations at their September distribution meeting.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation celebrates 40 years of service with the unveiling of a new logo at its anniversary celebration.

The Wean Foundation has been hosting a series of workshops to assist nonprofits and residents through grants and local engagement training.

The New Albany Foundation launched the Jeans for Green New Albany denim drive to help people in need and reduce the city's landfill waste.

Lima Community Foundation's executive director, Robin Frazier, was interviewed to discuss projects undertaken by the foundation.

The University of Akron's Polsky project to renovate its downtown building received funding from the Peg's Foundation, GAR Foundation, the Knight Foundation, the Mary S. and David C. Corbin Foundation, the Lehner Family Foundation, the Toth Family Foundation, Huntington Bank and the City of Akron.

Clothes for Kids received a $1K grant from the Keith Hubbard Family Fund, a fund under the Defiance Area Foundation umbrella, to support its mission of providing new clothing, shoes and essentials to local students in need. 

The Huron County Community Foundation awarded $21K in charitable community grants to several Huron County nonprofits at its September Board of Directors meeting.

In partnership with the Wayne County Community Foundation, J.M. Smucker Co. will provide $1M over five years to support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's expansion into Wayne County.

The Fred and Alice Wallace Charitable Memorial Foundation awarded We Care Arts, a nonprofit in Kettering, a $10K grant, which will support the Transition To Work program for high school special education classrooms.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is one of 26 groups nationwide to participate in the Trust for Civic Life's Civic Hub initiative, sharing $8M in funding over three years to advance civic participation and collaboration in local communities.
