Welcome to Philanthropy Ohio’s brand-new website

Our last major website design update was in 2015, so we are very excited for this new, fresh look and added functionality on our website with the same robust content your membership provides – including a big improvement to how you access many of your member benefits.

I’m thrilled to share with you that after being in the works for several years, Philanthropy Ohio has launched a brand-new website. 

The new site illustrates how our community is working toward a just and vibrant Ohio through impactful philanthropy. It's designed to seamlessly connect you to public policy work and advocacy that strengthens the charitable sector; learning programs that advance your knowledge and expertise; peer convenings that connect you to your colleagues by job role and funding interests; collaborating with the governor’s office and state agencies to build public/private partnerships; and resources to center racial equity in your external work and internal operations.

Along with an updated design that includes improved search functionality, responsiveness on different devices and an overall enhanced experience, new elements include a reorganized top navigation that features:

ENGAGE – where you’ll find all the ways for you to get involved in the network and get the most out of your membership – the membership directory, joining a peer group or committee, the Job Board and getting connected to our Consultancy Collective and Professional Partners.

CONNECT – the place for more information about Philanthropy Ohio – how to submit a nomination for the 2022 Philanthropy Awardsour staffour board, our equity work and more!

LEARN – contains the programs and knowledge resources to improve your practices – the listing of upcoming events and meetings, the searchable Resource Center and Philanthropy Forward ‘22 conference information (Registration opens next week!).

TRANSFORM – where you’ll find the public policy and public/private partnerships work that has the ability to transform our communities, including the ways that you can get involved in educationhealth and housing advocacy work.

DISCOVER – contains the latest ideas and best practices to increase your impact through policy newsletters, blog posts, the latest philanthropy news in Ohio, research articles and more all in one content hub.

In order to access the new website, you’ll need to activate your account and set your password, which will allow you to register for programs, access members-only resources, fully search the membership directory and more. For security purposes, we don’t have access to your old password, so you’ll need to reset it on the new website. You can use your old password if you like.

Steps to log into the new website:

Each individual member has their own unique email login to the Philanthropy Ohio website, and email addresses cannot be shared.

  1. Go to philanthropyohio.org/user/password and enter your email address.
  2. Check your email for your secure, one-time login link and click the link to set your password.
  3. You will be logged in once you save your password.
