A new year has just begun, and Philanthropy Ohio is launching 2026 with a full slate of valuable programming, events and new initiatives. This year, we encourage you to take advantage of the continuing professional development programs, peer groups and brand-new mentorship learning exchange we have to offer. Whether it’s attending workshops, participating in webinars or seeking mentorship, there are countless ways to enhance your skills and expand your knowledge.

Plan for the year ahead, set your development goals and make the most of all the resources available through Philanthropy Ohio. Together, we can help elevate your career and achieve greater heights.

Philanthropy Fundamentals

Philanthropy Ohio is bringing back Philanthropy Fundamentals to not only train newer team members on the origins, historical context and key concepts of philanthropy, but also offers a chance to refresh or develop new skills to make a greater difference in your work.

Attend four virtual sessions with your cohort and learn from experienced professionals in our field. Connect with peers and learn critical foundational knowledge of the philanthropic sector at large and within Ohio. These concepts will help you appreciate the complex dynamics of the sector, including the relationship between money, power and community accountability. Learn more and register by Friday, January 23, at www.philanthropyohio.org/events/philanthropy-fundamentals-2026.
