As Chief of Staff, Steven supports the President/CEO to help grow, develop, scale, and lead the Foundation. His principal duties include fostering collaboration
and making decision-making processes more effective for the CEO and the Leadership Team.
As a member of the President’s Office, Steven provides counsel to external groups and community leaders on philanthropy and other matters relating to the Foundation’s mission, core business practices, and public value initiatives. In addition to this role, he also works with a portfolio of donors and their professional advisors.
Prior to the Foundation, Steven worked as a Grants Administrator for Huckleberry House, Inc. and was Associate Director of Foundation Relations at The Ohio State University. Steven is a trustee for Philanthropy Ohio, serves on the Leadership Committee for the Columbus Metropolitan Club, serves on the Shumate Council of the Wexner Center for the Arts, and is an advisory committee member for 21/64.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University, and a master’s in public administration from the John Glenn College at The Ohio State University.
